The good, the bad, and the messy

About a week ago, our bank (Reliance Bank- love them!) was having an open house for their 3rd annivesary. I got word that they were going to have a drawing for a Wii, so the kids and I went out and had some treats and wished them a happy anniversary... oh yea, and register for the Wii.

On Monday morning we got a phone call (from 2 of the ladies that we know out there- they called us on speaker phone b/c they were so excited) telling us that Carsen was the big winner! We were so excited. I was home with the kids that day, along with my friend's 3 kids... me taking 5 kids to the bank was not an option! Keith came home on his lunch hour and took Carsen to pick up his big prize! He was so proud!

We definately limit the amount of time we let him play, but he really enjoys it. A lot of our family and friends already have a Wii (we know... we're technologically behind), so Carsen is actually pretty good at it.

Last Friday morning, Carsen was wanting to play a game. I'm very new at this "Wii thang", so I was taking a bit of time to get it all hooked up for Carsen. I heard Madelyn in the kitchen, so I assumed she was rummaging through my cupboards and playing with the mixing bowls as usual. It seems to be her favorite past time as of late.

Who needs corn starch anyways, right? Thank goodness for my bagless Dyson vacuum. It sucked up this mess in a matter of seconds.

Whether it's playing Wii or dumping out all the powder-like substances from my kitchen, there's never a dull moment at the Kramer home.

  1. Wow! What a huge prize to win! Congrats, Carsen! And yikes on Maddie, I'd hate to have to clean that up, but her face is priceless! :)
