We've been having some cold & rainy weather this week.
A few nights ago, there was a beautiful double rainbow after the storm.
To many, this is just a rainbow. But I couldn't help but think about the simple story of Noah's Ark that we've all heard many times growing up.
After God destroyed the earth, He promises to Noah in the form of a rainbow "never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth".
We were driving in the rain the other day, and Carsen asked where the rainbow was. This got me thinking...
We've had some tough things this year with Madelyn's testing at Mayo and the death of my grandma. It is always a comfort to know that God is always there. He's readliy available! He's never too tired, broke down or sick of hearing from His children. We never run out of times that we can run to God and he's there 24/7.
The verse my class chose during our senior year of high school was Jeremiah 29:11, and it's still one of my favorites today:
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Are you going through a tough situation?
Are you looking for your rainbow... your promise from God that He's there??
Know that God is always there and is ready, available and eager to hear from you.

beautifully said Amy :)
